Freight Costs

It can be difficult to implement a 'one size fits all' freight charge structure so instead we have opted to add the freight charge to your order once we receive a confirmation of the exact cost from the courier. This way you can be sure that the actual amount charged reflects exactly the cost Slow Beer incurs to ship your beer.

Below we have outlined the indicative charge per box to most major capital cities. These costs are based on a standard 16kg case of wine, roughly equivalent to a 24 bottle case of 330ml or 12 bottle case of 750ml.

Rest assured we will confirm the freight charge with you prior to payment.   

On-line Ordering

As you have no doubt gathered www.slowbeer.com.au is a fully functioning on-line beer store. Simply add your chosen beers to the shopping cart and then proceed to the check-out. Please note the following:

1) You must register to complete the sales process (sorry - we know it's a pain but our software requires this step).

2) The shipping charge will be displayed as 'Flat Rate $0.00.  We have employed this structure as it is near impossible to accurately calculate freight in an automated fashion. We will contact you post receipt of the order to confirm the freight cost.

3) A 10% discount applies to all orders of 12 or more units. Note that the discount will be calculated once the order has been completed and you have been contacted by us. (Similar to freight calculation - as above)

4) Under the payment screen please select the 'Order Confirmation Form' option (ie the only choice).

5) An order form with full details is calculated (we also receive these details electronically).  We will calculate the applicable freight and discount then contact you (phone or email) to confirm the total order value.  You can then choose to pay via credit card over the phone / email or direct debit to the following bank account:
